2016-2017 Projects

STEM 11/12 Smart Greenhouse

Given the challenge to develop a self-powered, computer-controlled greenhouse, the seniors broke into six collaborative teams to develop expertise in everything from solar panel systems to hydroponics.

STEM 9 Rescue-Bots

Can you build and code a robot to enter a dark building and autonomously find and rescue a beacon?  Students are working hard in small teams to reach their goal, while explore electricity, simple circuits, and making their own tutorials to explain coding to future STEM students!

STEM 8 Wireless Rovers

It's junkyard wars!  Students salvage parts from old RC cars to build their own wireless rovers from scratch.  Learning team work strategies, coding, and electronics with the goal of controlling these bots over the VSB network.
